We have a Private car park and a fantastic choice for breakfasts.Built in 1863 out of local sandstone and once the village post office Elm House has been providing bed and breakfast accommodation over the last 40 years. This family-run guest house is situated just 400m from lake Ullswater, in the picturesque parish of Pooley Bridge, where you will find 3 pubs, tearooms, a post office and gift shops.The house is perfectly located for making the most of the village amenities without even having to get in to your car. From M6 jct 40 follow A66 west towards Keswick. After 0.5 mile, at roundabout, take second left A592 Ullswater. After 4 miles turn left at the lake and travel through Pooley Bridge. Elm House is 100 yds straight ahead after The Sun Inn.
